Sometimes i just feel super left out.  I don’t think that it is anyone else’s fault, but my own, but it really just sucks.  This is a problem that a lot of people with autoimmune conditions go through for one reason or another.  It’s not always rainbows, butterflies and sunshine – sometimes it’s pills, needles and hospital visits with hard news, which not very many people understand or really want to hear or talk about.

I have found the best support other than family, which sometimes isn’t always available (emotionally or physically), is FaceBook groups.  FaceBook has many groups that have been specifically made for certain conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis or Systemic Lupus.  This is one of those topics that not many want to talk about, but it is a real issue that many of us have to encounter everyday.  Even if a person appears ok on the outside, sometimes just going up to them and offering a word of support or a hug could make a world of a difference.

Maybe that is what we all need though…  just some support and a kind word.

Please add more to the discussion.  What are someways that you find assistance in your life?  Where do you find the simple little smiles?

That’s it for now
